These deer sketches/prints were spread throughout the house. Today I decided to group them, and now I sort of want to fill an entire wall with more of them :).

I found a stash of vintage hankies and a new deer on a wonderful fleamarket in Maarsbergen. I already had a deer figurine looking much like this one, but couldn't leave it behind anyway :).

This little squeaky deer is what I like to call 'so ugly it becomes pretty' :) sitting in an old suitcase..

While sorting through our big living room chest I found this cute childrens book. Aren't the illustrations adorable? The book cover has the shape of a deer too :).

This little deer looks a little bit sad because he was wrapped in a piece of paper for a while and only got unpacked today. He's happy to have found a place in my Headquarters with his little kitty friend though :).

I found this cute Bambi while thrifting last Friday, together with the hanky, cups, teapot and knitting needles. I'm photographing my finds today for my {other} blog :).

This deer is very special to me, I bought her at an antiques market in Belgium in the summer of 2010. I was at one of the last stalls, feeling bit disappointed about not having found a deer yet, when I spotted this little one. A woman came up to me and said 'Tres Vieux'. I don't speek French too well but knew it meant something like 'old'. When she wrote down the year 1920(!) I almost couldn't believe my eyes. She was mine for no more than 6 euros ♡

I bought Christmas lights on sale at Ikea and hung them on our canopy bed. I thought it would create nice effects with my heart bokeh cover. I bought this deer at the queens-day flea market in our town a couple of years ago.
